Minus7 acquires Engenius Limited
Combining regional and local expertise to deliver the best renewable energy heating and Solar PV solutions across the UK.
Minus7 Ltd is delighted to announce the recent acquisition of Engenius Limited, bringing increased expertise to expand their award-winning, building-integrated hybrid technology, which now incorporates roof-integrated PV tile planks.
Engenius, which will be a subsidiary within the Minus7 group, provides Solar PV design, installation and maintenance capabilities, servicing domestic, commercial and utility scale businesses across the South of England.
Engenius and Minus7 share a strong customer focus and the combination of the companies’ regional and local strengths will help to deliver a richer and more comprehensive service package to clients. The agreement enhances the group’s future growth and performance to provide a total in-house design, installation and maintenance package to its established customer base – housing associations, residential developers and residential landlords – to deliver zero net carbon heating solutions with zero annual running costs by design.
Ed Suckling, newly appointed manager of Engenius said: “We are delighted to combine our strengths to meet the changing demands of the renewable energy marketplace, especially following the recent reduction to the Feed-in Tariff. Working with the team from Minus7 will enable us to broaden both our product offering and client base as well as being able to support the group in achieving their goal of offering low-carbon, low-cost domestic heating solutions through the delivery of their new integrated Solar PV offering.”
“Engenius’ seasoned management team has built a solid and successful operation that provides superior local support and services to the south of England” said Hamish Wilson, CEO of the Minus7 group. “After 25 years of running the company, Ann and Laurie Tennant have decided to retire and entrust the reins to us to take the business forward. The management and staff of Minus7 would like to wish them a very happy retirement.”
