Project Description

Designed by renowned architect Peter Aldington in 1967, Diggs Field is arguably one of the most influential designs of post-war domestic housing in Britain.

The new owners wanted to significantly upgrade the fabric of the building, reduce their considerable energy costs and their heavy carbon footprint. They wanted a working residence, adapted to the needs of 21st century family life which was structurally sound, asbestos- free and as close to Passivhaus fabric-first standards as possible.
